Getting closer...

Spencer is SO excited!! I can hardly keep her out of the mud and in the house at the moment. She has been outside a bit "helping" Daddy and I, but my Mom came over yesterday to let us get more finished before the rain came. Tim's at it again, determined to have it completed today...He's such a sweetheart!! Sweat, mud  and all. Here you go....

All of these boxes were FULL!! It was like a giant jigsaw puzzle!!

There he is, my sexy handy man!! Great job babe!!

Playground breaking ground!!

We are finally getting started on Spencer's playground. We had to leave the one we had for her at the house in Columbus, so it's been a process trying to find one we all liked, but we did. We also have to do some major renovations to the back yard due to a sideways slope, but were very blessed to have such great friends!! Especially ones who own a landscaping business and who know how to operate this machinery!! We rented the "mini escavator" and Scotty Booth did the major earth moving. It was pretty cool to see. The kids LOVED getting up there and "helping". Of course I had to give it a try, but then got a little scared, so I left it to the guys. Here you go:

Greek Festival 2010, Marietta, Ga

SO this is an event that I went to when I lived in Atlanta more than 8 years ago. When I saw that it was still happening, I thought Spence would get such a kick out of it. We had friends in town, Jack, Amy & Shiloh Perry, so while the guys worked on a project that Tim has going, the girls went to the festival. I didn't get pics of Shiloh in her outfit, but just imagine a taller, older version of Spence, when you see the pictures below. I say that because, no matter what color Spence chose, she always changed her mind once she saw what Shiloh had chosen. She loved spending time with her. Here you go:

This was her "jingly skirt" All the little girls were running around wearing them.

She also chose a beautifully colored necklace, that I'm not sure she'll wear outside of dress up!!
We teased Tim and Jack when we told them that we had brought home a couple of Belly dancer's! They were pleasantly surprised when they saw what we meant!

Swim Lesson's at Aqua Tots

Spencer has started swim lessons and loves it!! She can't wait to go after school! We really like it at Aqua Tots because they offer year round classes and times that are convenient for both working Mom's and Dad's! Also, the class, as you can see is small with only a few children in each. Once again, we are loving Atlanta for SO many reasons!! Take a look:

GAA Spectacular 2010

Spencer received her second Medal for gymnastics for performing at the Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta's Spring Spectacular this weekend. All the kids had a great time showing off what they've been learning. It was too cute. Enjoy...

Spencer's New Bike Apr 2010

So, we went to Walmart-not for a bike and then....She found the disney princess bike's. She rode it around the entire store and did very well. It has training wheels, so we thought it would be fairly safe and she was super excited. We got home and went down to the cul-de-sac. There is an ever-so-slight slope there and BAM! She fell over. It was more like tipping over, but her hand got cut from the payment. She didn't even mess up her knees or anything. Aunt Ray-Ray got to see the whole thing. She hasn't gotten back on since, but we're not giving up. :)

Team Lake Team Spencer 2010

We were invited to a bday dinner celebrating Leah and her Mom's (Mopa's) birthday at Aunt Rachel and Uncle Philips' house. Rachel made the BEST vegetarian lasagna, still need to get that recipe!! We all had a wonderful time, but Spencer and Lake had SO much fun playing together. Thanks Aunt Ray-Ray for the pics and the lasagna!!
