Father's Day 2009

Look who MIGHT have a green thumb...

We'll see once we actually get a good harvest of veggies, but here's what it has looked like so far. These pics were about a month ago...

These are just a few from today....

This is the Okra. It's growing really well.
The corn is taller than Spencer who is 36"!! =)

Little Gym Carnival 2009

Spencer really LOVES gymnastics and they had the coolest event for the little ones. For ages 18 months-4 years, they had the entire gym open for events so the kids could show their families what they had been learning in  class.
Standing on the podium was the last thing they did. After all of the events on their sheet had a stamp or smiley face, they got a medal and their picture made up there. It was truly special.

Grandparents day 2009

Grandmama and Granddaddy came to school to have breakfast with Spencer on Grandparents day. They had so much fun. It was on St. Patrick's day too, so everyone had on green.

Easter 2009

We had a great day on Easter. First, we went to Church and enjoyed listening to the music and seeing everyone dressed up. Then, we went to Flat Rock park to have an Easter egg hunt with Grandmama & Granddaddy. Great Grandmama, Aunt Peggy, Uncle Bud, Cindy, Chuck, LJ, Aunt Traci and Courtney were also there.
Spencer found lots of eggs and was SO happy when she realized that the ones Aunt Peggy brought had CANDY in them!! Yum! Grandmama and Granddaddy hid eggs that had quarters she could feed to her Dinosaur belly bank later, which also made her SO happy!
Spencer LOVED wearing her bunny dress, she couldn't wait to show Ms. Betty in the nursery at church.

The Wild, Wild West!!

So we're back and what a great time we had!! We took our first REAL family vacation and went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to see the Teton Mountains and all of the wild life there!! We had SO much fun and quite a bit of adventure. We stayed in the Teton Village, took a dog sledding tour, crossed an ICE cold river in our swim suits to a natural hot spring (NO JOKE-BTW they had record snow fall this past year!), visited the National Elk reserve and went on a wild life expedition in the Teton Mountains.

Here are some more of our memories....

This dog was rescued from the Elk Reserve and was one of the guides pets!

Spencer's 2nd Birthday!

We have had quite a busy first quarter of 2009!! Once we survived the holiday excitement, we got ready to celebrate Spencer's 2nd birthday!! We had the celebration at My Gym here in town. We had Aaron Hale come and photograph the event and had a BLAST!! Daddy was the videographer and did a great job. Spencer had SO much fun playing with all of her friends and eating LOTS of yummy cake. Most of her classmates came, a friend from Church and a friend came all the way from Atlanta too!! She had a great turnout. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

New Year's Eve 2008-2009

On New Years Eve, the Perry family came over to help us celebrate. We had a great time playing Wii and making fools of ourselves. Shiloh and Spencer watched a movie in our bedroom and were angels--as always. Shiloh is such a good God-sister.

Susan's 35th Bday!

Rachel and Philip came down to help Tim and I celebrate my 35th bday! YIKES!! When did that happen?? Time is certainly flying by...Anyway! We had a great time!

More Christmas 2008 fun!

Christmas 2008

I haven't looked at our page for a while!! Oops! We had a lot of fun this holiday season. My Mom came down and was here Christmas morning, so she got to see Spencer after Santa came--it was so awesome. We loved seeing the look on her face!! We were all very blessed this year. God is good.
