We have had such a fun, interesting and sometimes difficult year so far!! Spencer is almost 2 now and not slowing down a bit. She started gymnastics this year--which she calls "nastics" and is loving it. Her favorite part is jumping on the trampoline and getting the stamp on her feet at the end! We are happy that she's having fun though. It's good for us too! Under the age of 2 allows parents to go out on the floor with them, so we get to run after her and help her in the obstacle courses. We get a bit of a work out. We are gearing up for Christmas, which we hope she is as excited about as we are. We got her a little trampoline with a safety bar on it, so she can jump safely until her hearts content!
My brother has had to have two major surgeries. One to replace his mitral valve in his heart and the second to install a defibrillator. He's doing better, but every week it seems there's something new. We were all pretty scared once we found out the severity of it all and consider each day with him a gift from God.
Speaking of gifts from God, he had a son born on June 4, 2008. His name is Jeremy Christopher Spencer. My Mom is the VERY proud Grandmother of 2 beautiful grandchildren. She just beams all the time!!
