Visit with Heather and Dawnie 2010

We had SO much fun a couple weeks ago. Tim couldn't take any time off, so Spencer, Hazel (Heather and Dawn's Mom) and I went on a road trip for a few days. It was so great to see them and get to spend time with their families. Their children really are growing up to be wonderful people. Spencer LOVED being with them. She got to play the WHOLE time. This is us at the beach.

Madi and Spence making pottery at Accidental Artist
In New Bern, N.C., they have an artistic bear project that helped raise money for the city-pretty cool. These guys are everywhere.
A really cool Episcopal church courtyard. Truly beautiful trees with spanish moss. Loved the cross. Spencer just thought it was great she could jump across the benches. =)

My girls, Heather, Hazel and Dawnie.

Thanks Heather, Dawn, Hazel and all of our families. That trip meant so much to both Spencer and I. We love you!

What is more fun than playing in the rain????

Apparently, nothing!! When I got home Tim showed me what he and Spence had been up to. Looks like fun to me!!

Spencer's mini recital 2010

SO, who knew??? After princess dance camp during the summer-yes, princess dance camp, there's a mini recital!! Spencer seemed to enjoy this one a little bit more. She didn't get upset at the big one earlier this year, but she didn't smile as much as she did during this one. These are of her more serious moments...

Hope for Nicholas-Seven Hills, July, 24th 2010

Saturday, we went to a benefit concert for a little boy who lives in Seven Hills. His name is Nicholas and he's 4. He was been diagnosed suddenly with the worst kind of brain cancer and the toughest to treat. We had a really good time at the event, but mostly it was heart warming to see the HUGE support from the Paulding county and surrounding communities. Here is the link to learn more about his condition and support his cause, if you feel led to do so. www.hopefornicholas.org

The oldies band was GREAT!!
Yummy "Cheesebooger" face-love the way she talks!!
Snow cone she snagged while visiting with Scooby Doo!! Didn't have my camera!
My Sweetie!

Playing with Julie's backdrops and new lights!

Once Spencer was ready to cooperate, Julie worked her magic and took some really pretty pictures. Thanks Julie for asking us to help!

Sweet smile and ready to see the doggies we bribed her with!!

4th of July 2010

Me and Dawnie at her Mom's for a cookout. Heather, Michael and most of our spouses and kids were there too, but my camera died!!

Michaela and Spence on Uncle Tim's motorcyle

We had such a great weekend. So far these are the only pics I have-will get more from Heather and Dawn. This was at our neighbors house across the street.

Thank you to all the Men and Women who have fought and ARE fighting every day for us to be able to have the freedoms we enjoy. And--yes they fight even for those that would criticize the war, so that you can have the FREEDOM to do just that.
GOD bless America!!

Spidey

So I walked outside to open the Screen door and let Brady (the dog) outside and felt a tickle across my hand. EEEEWWWW!!!!! He or she was HUGE, but now rests in peace. =) Sorry had too-it freaked me out.
